Chabad of Scottsdale is pleased to host

Rabbi Danny Cohen, Rabbi in Hebron Israel

 7:30 PM Tuesday, November 5, 2013

10215 N. Scottsdale Rd.

Danny Cohen lives with his wife and young children, in the Jewish neighborhood adjacent to the Cave of the Patriarchs: the property our father Abraham purchased as a burial place for his wife Sara, 4,000 years ago.

Rabbi Danny will be sharing with us the thrills and chills of living on the front lines of Jewish History past present and future, and his first hand experience living with the brave settlers who established the modern Jewish community in Hebron. You will hear what it's like to live under the threat of terror and the many ways his role as director of Chabad activities in Hebron, is unique.

Danny is the son of American Jews who brought him to Eretz Yisroel as a young child. He grew up in Psagot, a Jewish town not far from Ramallah. He achieved the rank of Sergeant in his regular army duty, and remains active in the reserves as a combat soldier.
