Operation Entebbe flyer.jpg

In July of 1976, Sassy participated in the famed Entebbe rescue mission code named "Operation Thunderbolt", flying thousands of miles over enemy territory to rescue hostages being held by terrorists in Uganda.

Sassy's story is Israel's story: one of courage, endurance, defiance, and willingness to sacrifice it all for the right to live in peace as a Jew.

A veteran of the elite "Red Beret" paratrooper unit, Mr. Reuven participated in several covert operations in Israel's mighty struggle against Arab terrorism.

Sassy Reuven currently lives in Calabasas, California, with his wife and three children.
